Grant Thornton UK is seeking an experienced Finance Transformation Manager or Assistant Manager to join Finance Consulting. You will work at the intersection of finance operations, process redesign, and enabling technology, shaping the future controllership offering alongside senior finance leaders.

You will develop skills across close automation and stakeholder management, with opportunities to lead workstreams, manage client relationships, and grow into leadership roles within the firm.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification with post‑qualification experience
• Genuine interest in finance transformation and role of technology in improving controllership and close processes
• Confidence engaging with senior finance stakeholders and managing expectations

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage workstreams within controllership and financial close transformation engagements
• Support and guide engagements from diagnostic through implementation
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and ensure delivery against budgets and timelines
• Collaborate with Directors and Partners to shape and grow the controllership offering
• Assist with practice development and contribute to toolkit improvements
