Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a Finance Transformation Lead for a growing insurance business in the UK. You will join a team reporting to the Group CFO, combining financial control, FP&A and transformation to sharpen reporting and insights.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, review systems, drive automation, strengthen month-end processes and support budgeting and forecasting to boost performance across the group.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required.
• Insurance experience essential.
• Strong background in financial control and management reporting.
• Proven track record delivering finance process improvements or transformation projects.
• Solid understanding of FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and challenging existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements across finance processes, controls and reporting.
• Review existing systems and identify opportunities to automate and improve efficiency.
• Strengthen balance sheet controls and month-end reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis.
• Work with senior stakeholders to improve financial insight and decision-making.
• Get involved in wider business projects, including systems and operational improvements.
