Job summary

Octopus Electric Vehicles seeks a Finance Transformation Manager to own the platform vision for Finance, shaping our leasing and billing platform in partnership with Product & Tech. You will define target outcomes, translate finance needs into concrete requirements, and deliver end-to-end processes that can be handed over to the team for sustainable efficiency gains.

This hands-on manager role requires consulting rigor and structured problem solving, with a track record of improving finance

Qualifications

4+ years experience in consulting, finance transformation, or finance-technology advisory.
Experience shaping requirements for finance systems that connect billing, accounting, reporting and operational finance.
A consulting or internal-consulting background with ability to learn unfamiliar finance processes quickly and drive structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

Own the finance requirements for the leasing and billing platform, ensuring it supports securitisation reporting, accounting treatment and day-to-day operational finance.
Translate complex finance processes into clear, testable requirements for engineering and product teams.
Design and build new finance processes end to end and hand them over so they run reliably without you.
Identify and remove manual BAU work across Financial Operations, Financial Control, FP&A, Credit and Capital Markets.
Lead the practical deployment of AI to automate repetitive finance tasks with cost/benefit judgement.
Work collaboratively across Finance, Data, Product and Operations on cross-functional problems.
Help drive AI and data literacy across the Finance team.
