This is not a traditional finance role; you will drive change across FP&A, modelling, Power BI, and process improvement from day one, with four on-site days per week and close collaboration with senior leadership.

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a growing, multi-site business in South Yorkshire as they look to appoint a Finance Transformation Director.

This is not a traditional finance leadership role. If you are someone who gets more satisfaction from driving change than maintaining the status quo, and you would rather be knee deep in a project than producing the same monthly pack on repeat, this is worth reading on.

The role sits at the heart of a significant transformation agenda, covering FP&A, financial modelling, Power BI, systems and process improvement. The business wants someone who can come in and genuinely move things forward, building better tools, sharper insight and more efficient processes across the finance function. Sector experience is not a requirement here. What matters is the ability to deliver change and do it properly.

The other thing worth knowing is where this role leads. There is a clear pathway to CFO / COO within 18 to 24 months for the right person. This is not a vague promise of progression, it is a structured opportunity for someone with the right profile to step up into a seat at the top table.

You will be based on-site in South Yorkshire four days a week, working closely with senior leadership and with real visibility across the business from day one.
