Job summary

Cathcart Technology is seeking an experienced Contract Business Analyst to join a large organisation on a Finance-focused transformation programme in Liverpool. The role is a 6-month initial contract, onsite 3 days per week in Liverpool, paying £400 per day Outside IR35, with extension potential.

You will lead requirements elicitation, document functional and non-functional needs, facilitate workshops, and collaborate with agile and waterfall delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Strong BA experience across diverse business and tech projects.
• Experience in Finance ERP implementations.
• Ability to document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Proven workshop facilitation and stakeholder interviewing skills.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support a Finance-focused transformation programme.
• Act as an all-round BA across stakeholders, analysis and delivery.
• Analyse and improve business processes and operating models.
• Define and document requirements (business, functional, non-functional).
• Facilitate workshops and interviews.
• Support testing, change management, training, and business readiness.
• Work across projects and programmes in Agile and Waterfall.
