Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is expanding its Accounting Technology capability. You will lead accounting technology projects, engage with clients across sectors, and help select and implement finance system solutions to improve efficiency and reporting.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Advisory and BPO teams to deliver integrated, long-term value. The role emphasizes client service, project management, and proactive process improvement.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience in accounting technology, finance transformation or ERP implementation.
• Experience delivering accounting software implementations, ideally including iplicit and/or Sage Intacct.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and reporting requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong project management and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client workshops to understand business requirements and finance processes.
• Support clients through finance system specification and selection.
• Lead and support accounting system implementations, including configuration, testing, training and go-live activities.
• Project manage multiple engagements, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate data migration activities and support user acceptance testing.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and system utilisation.
• Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Contribute to the development of our Accounting Technology methodologies, solutions and best practices.
