Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking an experienced Accounting Technology Consultant to help clients review finance systems and implement technology solutions. You will lead accounting technology projects, manage multiple engagements, and collaborate across Accounting, Advisory and Business Process Outsourcing teams to deliver value.

The role combines accounting expertise with technology, offering opportunities to shape scalable finance functions and strengthen reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience in accounting technology, finance transformation or ERP implementation.
• Proven experience delivering accounting software implementations, ideally including iplicit and/or Sage Intacct.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and reporting requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong project management and organisational abilities.
• A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.

Due to continued growth in our Accounting Technology offering, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Technology Consultant to join our team.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of our Accounting Technology capability. Working closely with clients across a range of sectors, you will support organisations in reviewing their finance systems and processes, selecting the right technology solutions and delivering successful implementations. You will combine your finance and technology expertise to help clients improve operational efficiency, strengthen reporting capabilities and build scalable finance functions. You will be responsible for leading and supporting accounting technology projects, managing multiple client engagements and acting as a trusted adviser throughout the client lifecycle. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across our Accounting, Advisory and Business Process Outsourcing teams to deliver integrated solutions that provide long-term value to our clients.

As part of the role, you will:

What we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated and client-focused individual who is passionate about helping organisations leverage technology to improve their finance functions.

You will ideally have:

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification
• At least 3 years' experience in accounting technology, finance transformation or ERP implementation
• Proven experience delivering accounting software implementations, ideally including iplicit and/or Sage Intacct
