SSE is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Accountant to join our Glasgow-based team. You will specialise in Oracle FCCS/NR and HFM, guiding system development projects and embedding finance system support across the project lifecycle.

You’ll partner with stakeholders to define requirements, train users, and document solutions while ensuring robust governance and data management using EDM. This role is hybrid with office time in Glasgow, Perth, or Reading.

Qualifications

• Finance Systems Accountant with system support, development and maintenance of FCCS/NR and/or HFM.
• Experience delivering GL model design, dimensionality design, forms, reports, dashboards, Groovy scripting and data management integrations.
• Understanding of financial control and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex technical issues for a broad audience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio.

Responsabilités

• Deliver functional change for FCCS/NR; resolve issues; support data integration, validation and reconciliation.
• Maintain consistency of controls, procedures and governance standards.
• Work with stakeholders to understand finance requirements, deliver training and create user guides.
• Analyze and map complex processes including System Architecture and Oracle FCCS/NR developments and best practices.
• Provide application support to the EDM tool.
