Job summary

SSE plc is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Accountant to advise on group-wide system development in the Oracle EPM estate, with focus on FCCS/NR. You will support the full lifecycle from analysis to implementation and embed day-to-day support within the Finance Systems Team.

The role requires strong Oracle FCCS/NR/HFM experience, governance knowledge, and the ability to train stakeholders. Flexible first options and a strong benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Finance Systems Accountant with Oracle FCCS/NR and/or HFM experience.
• GL model design, dimensionality, forms, reports, dashboards and Groovy scripting.
• Data Management integrations, EDM, Viewpoints & Workflows; EDM dimensions.
• OIC/OCI technical and process setup desirable; Oracle/Hyperion certifications supported.
• Understanding of financial control and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication; ability to simplify complex issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Deliver functional changes for FCCS/NR; resolve incidents; support data integration, validation and reconciliation.
• Maintain consistency of controls, procedures and governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture finance requirements, deliver training, and create guides.
• Analyze and map complex processes and architecture; stay updated on FCCS/NR developments.
• Provide application support to the Master Data Management tool EDM.
