Wise is seeking a senior engineering leader to own the Finance Systems estate. You’ll shape the architecture, drive a multi-year ERP modernization, and establish SOX-ready foundations as Wise prepares for US listing and AI-enabled finance operations.

You’ll lead a senior team, partner with Finance and Product, and push for rapid, auditable deployment with strong observability and governance.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years leading engineering teams in finance/fintech.
• Deep experience with Tier 1 ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday Financials, or NetSuite) at enterprise scale, incl. migration/consolidation projects.
• SOX or equivalent control-environment experience with engineering practices for external audit.
• Architectural range across vendor configuration, custom extensions, integration middleware, and event-driven patterns.
• Stakeholder fluency at CFO level and ability to align with Finance and Product priorities.
• Pragmatic transformation mindset with incremental delivery focus.

• Define the architecture and multi-year roadmap for ERP and finance platforms.
• Lead, hire, and grow a senior engineering team with high standards of correctness and auditability.
• Build SOX engineering foundations, controls, and change-management practices.
• Drive deployment frequency, observability, incident response, and change control.
• Co-own the roadmap with Finance and Product, translating priorities into an engineering plan.
• Advance automation and AI-driven finance tooling where it adds real value.
