Job summary

Wise is seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to lead accounting for treasury products under US GAAP and IFRS, ensuring accuracy in financial systems and reporting. You will collaborate with Finance, product and external auditors to embed accounting in business processes.

You bring strong qualifications in financial instruments accounting, extensive experience with US GAAP/IFRS, and a track record delivering complex accounting implementations within a fast-growing FinTech.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting for financial instruments under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Experience tackling technical accounting for financial instruments.
• Experience leading accounting implementation projects.
• Ability to work independently and own complex new areas.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting for financial instruments under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Document accounting positions and support product implementations.
• Explain accounting to non-finance stakeholders and external auditors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to embed accounting in business processes.
