Job summary

Arup is hiring a Finance Systems Accounting Analyst (2 Year Fixed Term Contract) to join the global Finance Systems team in London, with hybrid working. The role supports the Group Head of Finance Systems by delivering functional support, governance, and modern controls across multiple platforms.

You’ll work across ERP (JDE), Concur, Infor Timesheets, Jaggaer, TIS and FIS treasury systems, payroll tools, and internal finance tools, focusing on a subset while contributing to the broader finance

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Finance systems
• Experience in a Finance environment
• Experience from a complex international setting
• Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends and translate insights into actions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organisation and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience in designing training materials, communications and reports for change initiatives
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships across the organisation

Responsibilities

• Respond to user queries and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate on new developments and lead/support UAT activities
• Design solutions based on user requirements, aligned to strategic goals
• Deliver user training and contribute to ongoing process improvement
• Maintain documentation and change control across systems
• Monitor regulatory shifts and assess their impact on systems
• Manage access controls and ensure accurate data
• Define and maintain data structures and hierarchies
• Triage incoming queries and direct them appropriately
• Track and prioritise requests, keeping stakeholders informed
• Build cross-functional relationships and manage expectations
• Use standard tools to report on progress and tackle challenges
• Support wider initiatives led by the Group Head of Finance Systems
