Job summary

Boundaryless Automation is seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst to support a data transformation and controls remediation programme for a top-tier banking client in London. The role requires on-site presence, with strong experience in data analytics, governance, and remediation across front-to-back data flows.

You will work with stakeholders across business and technology, leveraging SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT pipelines, and supporting BI outputs such as Tableau.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data quality, reporting controls, or data transformation programmes.
• Experience in regulated remediation environments with exposure to audit evidence, controls testing, issue closure, and governance.
• Strong understanding of Capital Markets data, reporting expectations, and front-to-back data flows.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex querying, performance tuning, reconciliation logic, and data validation.
• Strong Python skills for data analysis, including pandas, validation frameworks, and scripting.
• Experience supporting or validating ETL/ELT pipelines and data quality frameworks, including rules and control checks.
• Experience with scheduling tools like Autosys and/or Apache Airflow, including monitoring and retries.
• Experience with CI/CD and release controls (Git, Harness, UrbanCode Deploy, OpenShift).
• Familiarity with AWS S3 and BI outputs like Tableau, including data validation.
• Strong documentation skills and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support the remediation delivery model governance, intake processes, tooling usage, and cadence.
• Conduct discovery sessions with business, technology, controls, and reporting stakeholders.
• Drive quick-win remediation waves by defining requirements, triage, and evidence capture.
• Profile data and report findings to support controls gap assessments and remediation planning.
• Design and execute reconciliation checks between source and target data.
• Maintain control evidence, lineage data, and audit-ready documentation packs.
• Track risks, issues, decisions, and changes impacting remediation outcomes.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements to transformation logic and reporting.
