Job summary

Rimaya in Central London is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join its finance team. This hands-on role focuses on month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting and VAT.

You will lead journals, manage AP/AR, prepare management reports and assist with year-end accounts, audits and internal controls. The role requires part-qualified or qualified accountant status and strong Excel skills; UK right to work is essential.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent.
• Hands-on accounting experience in a similar role.
• Strong month-end close, reconciliations and reporting experience.
• Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.
• UK right to work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support month-end close with accurate timely activity.
• Post month-end journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Oversee AP/AR activities and banking reconciliations.
• Produce monthly management reports and financial analysis.
• Assist with financial statements, VAT returns and audits.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Collaborate with finance and operations for timely reporting.
