Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking an Interim Finance SOP & Process Standardisation Specialist to join the Finance and Shared Services teams in Filton, Bristol on a 3–4 month contract.

The role focuses on reviewing, developing, and embedding SOPs across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Intercompany, and Month-End Close, with practical process controls and governance measures. Onsite/Hybrid working is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and implementing Finance SOPs within medium to large organisations.
• Experience in shared service environments and driving process standardisation.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and controls.
• Delivery-focused with the ability to work independently and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review existing finance processes and identify inconsistencies.
• Develop and document finance SOPs across key processes.
• Implement controls and governance measures.
• Support standardisation across shared service and operational finance teams.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to document processes.
• Train, coach, and communicate to adopt new procedures.
• Ensure processes are documented, sustainable, and embedded in operations.
