Job summary

GKN Aerospace in Filton, Bristol, is seeking an Interim Finance SOP & Process Standardisation Specialist for a 3-4 month contract. The role is onsite with a hybrid pattern, offering a daily rate of £350-£650 depending on experience.

You will review, develop, and embed finance SOPs to drive consistent, sustainable processes across finance and shared services. The successful candidate will lead workshops, document current and future-state processes, and coach teams to adopt new procedures quickly

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and implementing Finance SOPs within medium to large organisations.
• Experience driving process standardisation across shared services.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Review existing finance processes to identify inconsistencies in ways of working.
• Develop and document SOPs across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Intercompany, and Month-End Close.
• Implement practical process controls and governance measures.
