Finance Services Assistant

£24,285 to £25,335 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Services Assistant to join the Finance team at Nottingham College.

We are looking for someone with experience working in a financial environment with financial systems, who has sound knowledge of financial regulations and their application. The successful candidate will be solution-focused and passionate about delivering excellent customer service to the College.

You will be able to build collaborative working relationships across various teams within the organisation and with external customers, working proactively within a team to drive improvements. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.

The successful candidate will be based with the Finance team at Nottingham One offices, reporting to the Finance Services Manager. You will be responsible for ensuring all financial transactions related to Income, Purchasing, and Banking are correctly processed and maintained within the finance system for Nottingham College. Your duties will also include providing financial information and support to students, customers, suppliers, and College staff.

Working to tight deadlines and problem-solving skills are key to success in this role. We seek someone with strong organisational skills and a proven track record of delivering within deadlines.
