Finance Analyst II

Contract: Full Time Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday normal office hours (flexi between 8-5)

Site: Office-based at Leeds, LS11 5BD

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (DOE)

Here at Conduent we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Finance Analyst II at our office based in Leeds. This role will focus on working as part of the on-site financial team alongside the Reconciliation Specialist and Finance Analyst I.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare daily reconciliations across all transactional data.
2. Produce daily reconciliation reports for Management review.
3. Reconciliation of transactions between Operating and Financial systems.
4. Work in accordance with specified tools and processes to ensure an integrated service.
5. Ensure tasks are completed within reporting deadlines.
6. Work with client to locate missing payments.
7. Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
8. Assist with the delivery of daily and monthly Reporting Schedules to the Client and maintaining all supporting in-house documentation.
9. Assist with the compilation of data to support project financial analysis and reporting.
10. Support accounting & operations during month-end Reporting and Close to the client, including SFP and SPL.
11. Ensure processes, procedures, controls, and records for all aspects of financial transactions are maintained and updated.
12. Work in accordance with Best Practice and always adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Understanding of reconciliation and financial reporting, including high-volume reconciliation.
2. Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including IFRS.
3. Strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify and resolve data issues.
4. Broad understanding of financial processes within Receivables and Payables.
5. Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
6. Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
7. Effective communication of financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
9. Experience with financial systems is essential.
10. Relevant accounting experience.
11. The role is open to QBE, part-qualified, or qualified candidates.
