Finance Analyst II

Contract: Full Time Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 8-5

Site: Office-based at Leeds, LS11 5BD

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (DOE)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Finance Analyst II at our Leeds office. The role involves working as part of the on-site financial team alongside the Reconciliation Specialist and Finance Analyst I.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily reconciliations across all transactional data.
• Produce daily reconciliation reports for management review.
• Reconcile transactions between Operating and Financial systems.
• Work with specified tools and processes to ensure an integrated service.
• Complete tasks within reporting deadlines.
• Manage Service Requests to ensure action and closure within KPIs.
• Work with clients to locate missing payments.
• Build partnerships and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Assist with delivering daily and monthly reporting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support financial analysis and reporting during month-end close.
• Maintain and update processes, procedures, controls, and records for financial transactions.
• Adhere to Best Practice and Standard Operating Procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of reconciliation and financial reporting, including high-volume reconciliation.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including IFRS.
• Strong attention to detail and quick resolution of data issues.
• Broad understanding of receivables and payables processes.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Effective communication of financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
• Experience with financial systems.
• Relevant accounting experience.
• Open to QBE, part-qualified, or qualified candidates.
