Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accounting, financial reporting or similar finance role.
• Ideally studying towards, or qualified in ACCA/CIMA or a similar qualification.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse financial performance and investigate variances.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Produce regular financial reports for management.
• Monitor costs and highlight areas requiring further investigation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Support with audit requirements and year-end preparation.
• Provide financial insight and support to colleagues across the business.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
