Job summary

Raise: Cumbria Community Forest in Cumbria is seeking a Finance & Programme Officer to support the financial and programme administration of the Trees for Climate programme and other organisational work.

You will process invoices, maintain accurate financial records, assist with budgeting, reporting and audits, and help manage deadlines and compliance. The role works across the organisation with the Director, Operations Manager, colleagues and external partners in a hybrid Cumbria setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial administration and organisational support.
• Confident with budgets, financial records and administrative systems.
• Experience in charity/public sector or community organisations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and budget tracker.
• Support reporting, audits and financial compliance.
• Assist Director and Operations Manager with programme administration.
