Job summary

Trial Balance is exclusively reengaged to recruit an experienced Finance Manager for a rapidly expanding charitable organisation. This full-time, permanent role offers a hybrid/flexible arrangement and reports to the Director of Finance.

You will manage a small team, oversee end-to-end finance processes, and contribute to statutory accounts and audits while driving process improvements across the function.

Qualifications

• Qualified AAT or equivalent experience minimum.
• Experience managing a small team.
• End-to-end finance lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience in charity/not-for-profit sector advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Prepare management information packs: budgets, cashflow, management accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and supplier payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable processes.
• Assist Director of Finance with year-end procedures and audits.
• Drive improvements to finance processes and digital systems.
• Ensure charity accounting standards and SORPs are followed.
• Deputise for the Director of Finance when required.
