Membership Bespoke is partnering with a UK environmental charity in Coventry to recruit a hands-on Finance Manager. The role covers day-to-day finance operations, month-end, payroll, VAT, Gift Aid and membership income, with a focus on improving controls and reporting.

You will lead a small finance team, partner with departmental leads, and shape budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, while strengthening systems and experiencing Business Central.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts, statutory reporting and charity compliance.
• Proficient with Business Central or similar finance systems.
• Experience leading small finance teams and partnering with non-finance colleagues.
• Charity sector experience (SORP, grants, restricted funds) desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead month-end, journals, reconciliations and management accounts.
• Maintain payroll, payments, VAT, Gift Aid and membership income continuity.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for departmental leads.
• Resolve TB/reconciliation issues and ensure audit readiness.
• Line manage a small finance team and act as a business partner across the charity.
• Strengthen systems and controls, including optimisation of Business Central.
