Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Project Management Officer (Finance & PMO) to support the technology function of a leading financial institution. The role combines financial management, management reporting, workforce planning and stakeholder coordination.

You will work closely with Finance, Technology, HR, platform leads and vendors to ensure financial and workforce information is accurate, timely and ready for management decision-making.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Ideally 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, PMO or workforce management.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, including month-end closing, accruals, prepayments, financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Experience in budget vs actual analysis and variance reporting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Good PowerPoint skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise management presentations.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Banking or technology finance experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and report on project financials, including actuals, forecasts, budgets and variance analysis.
• Support month-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, including data validation and consolidation.
• Track project costs, cost allocations, recoveries and savings.
• Prepare management reports and PowerPoint presentations for governance and decision-making.
• Support resource planning, headcount budgeting and capacity management.
• Track hiring requests from approval through onboarding and closure.
• Maintain accurate workforce and resource records across relevant systems and trackers.
• Monitor vacancies, hiring progress, attrition and resource movements.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve financial, workforce and operational issues.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
