Job summary

APBA TG HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Management Officer (Finance & PMO) to support the technology function of a leading financial institution in Singapore.

The role focuses on financial management, reporting, workforce planning and stakeholder coordination to ensure accurate, timely information for decision-making. You will collaborate with Finance, Technology, HR, platform leads and vendors, performing ad-hoc analyses and presenting findings to governance bodies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
• Ideally 3-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance or PMO.
• Strong understanding of month-end closing, accruals, prepayments and financial reporting.
• Experience with budget vs actual analysis and variance reporting.
• Proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and report on project financials including actuals, forecasts, budgets and variances.
• Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
• Track project costs, allocations, recoveries and savings.
• Prepare management reports and PowerPoint presentations for governance.
• Support resource planning, headcount budgeting and capacity management.
• Track hiring requests from approval through onboarding and closure.
• Maintain workforce and resource records across systems.
• Monitor vacancies, hiring progress and attrition.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
