Corporate Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a fast-growth payments brand to hire an experienced Financial Operations Lead who will shape how finance and money movement operate as the business scales.

This hands-on role comes from a background in management accounting, financial control, finance operations or treasury, offering ownership from day one and the opportunity to build scalable, auditable ledgers, reconciliations and controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in payments or fintech with high-volume data.
• Background in management accounting, financial control, finance operations or treasury.
• Ability to explain complex financial movements to non-finance colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own daily posting of transactions across safeguarding, operational, settlement and reserve accounts.
• Apply accurate debit and credit entries for merchant receipts, payouts, fees, reserves and adjustments.
• Maintain clean ledgers with a robust audit trail and cross-account postings.
• Define and document posting rules across fund types and improve controls.
• Run daily reconciliations across bank statements, ledgers and settlement files.
• Produce treasury, reconciliation and funds-position reporting each day.
• Support safeguarding calculations and ensure client funds are properly identified.
• Own and strengthen controls around payments, approvals and fund movements.
