Job summary

Ankar in London is seeking a strategic, hands-on Finance lead to own our financial operations and planning. You will build a world-class function to support growth, ensure financial discipline, and enable long-term success.

You’ll drive forecasting, budgeting, treasury, and reporting, while coordinating with external accountants in the UK and US. The role requires pragmatic execution and strong regulatory acumen.

Qualifications

• Hands-on finance operations experience in high-growth startups.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, reporting and forecasting.
• Manage budgeting, reporting and compliance processes.
• Oversee cash flow, capital allocation and risk management.
• Support fundraising prep (Series B) and investor communications.
• Implement scalable finance systems and controls, incl. invoicing.
