Job summary

Finova, London-based fintech, is seeking a commercial and forward-thinking Finance Business Partner to own budgeting, forecasting and reporting. You will partner with leadership and department heads, turning complex financial data into actionable insights to shape commercial decisions and safeguard our cash flow.

You'll leverage AI tools to drive efficiency, build robust models, and guide pricing and working capital decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven FP&A or commercial finance experience with ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to drive pricing, cost management and working capital.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex data clearly to varied audiences.
• Tech-forward with strong financial modelling skills and interest in AI tools.
• Analytical, proactive, and able to anticipate questions and offer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Budgets, Forecasts, & Financial Models: Own and continuously improve budgeting and forecasting processes. Collaborate with business owners to build credible plans.
• Commercial Support & Business Partnering: Help teams understand financial performance and build robust commercial cases for new deals and initiatives.
• MI & Reporting: Deliver accurate Management Information and explain performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital: Produce cash forecasts and explain cash implications of commercial decisions.
• Cost Management & Pricing: Analyze data to uncover efficiency and revenue opportunities, and manage pricing/cost models.
• Scenario & Trend Analysis: Track KPI trends and produce scenario plans.
• Process Improvement & AI Integration: Lead initiatives to embed AI tools into planning and reporting workflows.
• Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Projects: Support management with critical analysis for board/investor requests.
