Code Wizards Group is seeking a part-qualified, hands-on Finance Operations Administrator to join our Operations team, reporting to the COO. You will own day-to-day accounting in Sage Intacct, from posting journals and maintaining integrations through to budgets, management reporting and analysis, while working with teams across Code Wizards to help them understand and act on their financial performance.

Qualifications

• Fully-qualified or Part-qualified CIMA (preferred) or ACCA, and actively studying towards full qualification
• 2-3 years’ finance experience in a business environment, ideally within retail or gaming
• Hands-on experience of Sage Intacct (or Sage Intacct Essentials), from budgets and journals through to reporting and cash flow
• Practical experience of Sage integrations and mapping, including troubleshooting data flows between systems
• Confident preparing and posting journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and building analysis models
• Clear communicator, comfortable working with and challenging non-finance colleagues

Responsabilités

• Prepare and post journals in Sage Intacct, including accruals, prepayments, recharges, intercompany and month-end adjustments
• Support the month-end and year-end close, preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Maintain the chart of accounts, dimensions and entity structure across the Code Wizards Group companies
• Process and review supplier invoices, sales invoices, expenses and payments, keeping the purchase and sales ledgers accurate and up to date
• Support VAT returns, audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements
• Own the integration mapping between Sage Intacct and connected systems (e.g. CRM, payroll, banking and expenses)
• Investigate and resolve integration errors, mapping issues and data discrepancies
• Build and maintain budgets and forecasts in Sage Intacct, working with budget holders across the business
• Produce monthly management accounts and reports, including budget versus actual and variance analysis
• Provide project, client and departmental profitability analysis to support commercial decisions
• Develop and maintain Sage Intacct dashboards and custom reports
• Act as a finance point of contact for teams across Code Wizards, including Sales, Delivery, Engineering and HexWar Games, Studio Wizards, Multiplayer Wizards
