Job summary

Rodericks Dental Partners, Northampton, is seeking a Finance Operations Team Leader to head the transactional finance team. You will oversee cash reconciliations, accounts payable, refunds, and expense payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining controls and driving improvements.

You will coach two assistants, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate with practice teams and senior finance colleagues to support patient care across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a transactional finance role with cash reconciliation, AP or similar high-volume processing.
• Demonstrable ability to manage and develop a small team, setting clear priorities under deadlines.
• Strong systems aptitude and ability to learn multiple platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail in high transaction volumes.
• Highly organised with strong time management and ability to handle cycles.
• Commitment to following controls and authorisation procedures.
• Clear, confident communicator with stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly cash reconciliations across 220+ sites.
• Investigate variance risks, unbanked cash and late banking.
• Supervise patient refunds and accurate allocation of weekly refunds.
• Audit Excel expense claims against policy before payments.
• Own end-to-end BACS supplier payments via P2D system.
• Coach two Finance Operations Assistants to meet deadlines.
• Maintain controls log and process documentation for audits.
• Identify and propose improvements to system processes.
