Job summary

Parker Howley & Co is a fast-growing Yorkshire furniture manufacturer seeking a Finance & Operations Coordinator. Based in Mirfield, the role blends finance, purchasing and operations with hybrid work: four days onsite and one day WFH.

Salary £40,000 rising to £45,000 after probation, with full-time permanent employment and 40 hours per week. You’ll own management accounts, cash flow, payroll, VAT, budgeting and job costing, while improving stock control and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Hands-on finance experience across management accounts, cash flow, payroll and VAT.
• Experience supporting a growing SME with strong commercial insight.
• Ability to build and improve costing, budgeting and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day finance including ledgers, credit control and payroll.
• Produce management accounts, cash-flow forecasts and budgets.
• Develop job and product costing to understand true margins.
• Manage purchasing, supplier relationships and negotiations.
• Improve stock control and purchasing processes.
• Support order scheduling, capacity planning and delivery.
• Identify cost leakage and process improvements.
• Improve spreadsheets and systems as the business grows.
• Act as main contact for accountants, banks and insurers.
• Support basic HR, Health & Safety and people administration when required.
