About the Role

We partnered exclusively with a highly regarded UK-based real estate investment manager seeking a Management Accountant/FBP to join its growing team. With approximately £2bn in AUM and a strong track record across various asset classes, this firm is entering an exciting new phase of expansion across different investment strategies.

This is a dynamic opportunity for a qualified Accountant to take ownership of the financial oversight of the investment manager, with exposure to strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and potentially client fund accounting. You will work closely with the senior leadership team/Partners, external service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure robust financial management, scalable operations, and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee and review work by outsourced corporate finance providers, including management accounts, VAT returns, and payroll.
2. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI-setting with partners and the board.
3. Manage statutory and CASS audits.
4. Provide financial and strategic input to business planning and capital allocation.
5. Liaise and collaborate with the fund accounting team as needed.
6. Oversee operational controls, processes, and internal reporting frameworks.
7. Contribute to risk and compliance initiatives.
8. Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
9. Experience in corporate/management accounting, particularly in real estate or asset management.
10. Interest and experience in risk and compliance, with a willingness to engage in operational aspects.
11. Strong Excel skills; financial modelling experience is a plus.
12. Collaborative mindset with the eagerness to work across multiple functions.
