Job summary

Cathcart Technology is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 6 month contract in Liverpool, operating in a hybrid setup with around three days on-site per week. The role focuses on understanding the current Finance Operating Model and shaping a practical future-state model, through discovery workshops and detailed mapping.

You will work with senior stakeholders to identify pain points, clarify ownership, and drive transition to improved ways of working within finance functions.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Analysis experience within operating model design, organisational change or finance transformation.
• Expertise in current-state assessments, process mapping and ownership/RACI modelling.
• Experience supporting target operating model and future-state design initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to map current ways of working across people, processes, governance and data.
• Support target operating model design and transition to improved operating models.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to clarify ownership, accountabilities and cross-functional dependencies.
