Job summary

UST is seeking a Business Analyst with Finance Systems experience in Leicestershire. This hybrid role requires 3 days on site under a Fixed-Term Employment Contract with an immediate start.

You will partner with Finance stakeholders to model requirements, document processes, and shape system improvements in a modernising tech landscape. You will translate business needs into effective solutions, write user stories, and support cross-functional delivery in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting Finance Systems or financial business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and writing user stories.
• Exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and define business requirements.
• Document current and future-state processes, functional requirements, and solution options.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure business needs are translated into effective system solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and user experience.
• Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including requirements, user stories, workflows, and business cases.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation to support successful delivery of change initiatives.
