Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking a Finance Officer for a temporary contract in Glasgow City Centre. You will join a supportive finance team, handling day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate records. The role is initially three months with potential extension or a permanent opportunity.

The position is office-based with potential for hybrid working, and requires experience in ledger processing, reconciliations, and housing income payments. AAT qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience with purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.
• Experience in housing association or social housing is advantageous.
• AAT or equivalent accounting qualification.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices, supplier payments and customer receipts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cashbooks.
• Process rental income and housing benefit payments.
• Support month-end tasks and reporting deadlines.
