Job summary

Morgan Hunt is seeking a Finance Officer for a community-focused housing association in the Stirling area. You will manage financial ledgers, rent accounting and month-end processes while supporting budgeting, cash-flow forecasting and external audits.

The role requires experience with finance systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to supervise staff. Hybrid working with office presence Tue–Thu and home on Mon and Fri is available.

Qualifications

• Experience using financial systems and advanced Excel.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Experience working to deadlines within a regulated environment.
• Ability to supervise, support or develop another employee.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial ledgers, rent accounting, purchase ledger controls and month-end reconciliations.
• Support cash-flow forecasting, annual budgets, management accounts, statutory accounts and external audit.
• Oversee payroll administration, PAYE, pensions, HMRC payments, factoring invoices and tenant recharges.
• Supervise the Finance & Corporate Services Adviser and improve financial procedures, reporting and systems.
