Job summary

The University of Bradford is seeking a Finance Officer to join the Finance, Planning, Property and Commercial Operations team. You will prepare management accounts, run budgets and forecasts, and support data accuracy across the finance function.

The role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills. We offer a generous pension, 25 days holiday, campus facilities and flexible working arrangements where possible.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at Grade A, B or C, including English and Mathematics.
• Experience in finance or administration is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts and financial reports, budgets and forecasts within agreed deadlines.
• Complete monthly staff reconciliations with analysis of variances
• Analyse financial data and nominal ledger transactions, investigating variances against budget and processing corrections and month-end journals where required.
