Qualifications

Get out what you put in

This is a varied role that sits at the heart of our Group Finance function, supporting the direct and wider team. Day to day, you'll be raising invoices, reporting costs and managing purchase ledger transactions, including the use of the Group's purchase order system. You'll also post cash receipts on relevant ledgers and tackle credit control on sales ledgers. With the chance to help Notice: This vacancy has expired. review finances for individual homes and schools, you'll have opportunities to learn, developing your expertise. As a Finance Officer you'll have worked in a Finance team before and already have some experience inputting data, preparing management accounts and working with excel.

  • Experience of preparing management accounts, inputting data and working within a Finance team

  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel

  • The ability to work well within a team

  • The ability to work to tight deadlines

  • A full UK Driver's License

It is also desirable, but not essential that you have:

  • Experience with Sales & Purchase Ledgers

  • An AAT or equivalent qualification

  • Experience of working with Sage X3
