Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality finance service, ensuring timely adherence to statutory and council rules.
• Achieve service objectives and maintain exceptional financial processes while continuously improving them.
• Support the Finance Manager in service maintenance and development.
• Maximise team contribution while providing leadership, encouragement, and support.
• Assist team members in identifying and meeting personal development needs through PRD processes.
• Ensure team performance meets set targets through effective performance review.
• Manage key finance responsibilities including budget preparation and monitoring, alongside maintaining and preparing annual accounts.
• Undertake data analysis and present evaluations for managerial consideration.
• If applicable, manage operations involving bank accounts and creditors with compliance to DBS check requirements.
