The Client Financial Affairs – Income Team is responsible for the administration of the Council’s statutory duties for the provision of The Protection of Property and Funeral Services. The Client Financial Affairs Team also provides extensive services for the management and administration of individual client financial affairs under its corporate Deputyship and Appointeeship services. The Deputyship and Appointeeship services are provided for adults at risk who lack mental capacity to manage their own financial affairs under powers granted by the Court of Protection and the Department for Work and Pensions.
The role will involve the day-to-day administration of the property and affairs of clients subject to Deputyship Court orders and Department for Work and Pensions Corporate Appointeeship. As such in this role you will be responsible for:
