Job summary

Harvey John in Angmering is seeking a Finance & Office Assistant to join a busy SME, offering a mix of bookkeeping and general office support within a friendly, collaborative culture.

You will report to the Finance Director and Managing Director, handling daily financial transactions, supplier payments and routine admin to keep the business running smoothly. A proactive, detail‑oriented candidate will fit well.

Qualifications

• Sound experience in bookkeeping and financial administration.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
• Good Excel skills and proficient with Word/Outlook.
• Experience with an ERP system is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day processing and administration of financial transactions.
• Allocate customer payments and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Handle finance queries and manage outstanding debts.
• Provide office support including HR administration and diary management.
• Liaise with suppliers, maintain records and support MD/FD.
