Job summary

LendInvest, the UK’s leading FinTech for property finance, invites a data-driven professional to join our Finance analytics team. You will manipulate large, complex datasets to deliver reliable management information and financial insights for senior stakeholders.

Ideal candidates possess strong Excel skills (VBA/macros), experience with SQL or Python, and a passion for automating processes. You will support stress testing, model forward-looking scenarios, and contribute to smarter business

Qualifications

• Previous experience within Financial Services (ideally banking, property lending, or similar).
• Analytical experience within treasury / finance operations.
• Highly numerate with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on with large, complex datasets.
• Advanced MS Excel: VBA, macros, process automation.
• Data extraction, transformation, and loading from varied sources.
• Experience with SQL, Python or Power Query is beneficial.
• Commercial acumen and ability to interpret financial and non-financial impacts.

Responsibilities

• Clean, collate, and manipulate large datasets from multiple sources to produce reliable MI.
• Provide actionable insights and reporting for Finance and wider business.
• Own inputs and assumptions to roll financial models forward.
• Test model outputs, analyze trends, and implement improvements.
• Run stress scenarios and analyse financial impacts of outcomes.
• Champion automation and reliability improvements of finance processes.
• Research and apply latest financial modelling techniques and AI implementations.
