Qualifications

• Must be a university student in their penultimate year (undergraduate, Master’s or PhD) with coding skills in Python or SQL.
• Strong numerical ability and comfort with large data sets to generate insights.
• Curiosity and analytical mindset; capable of digging into data to understand how things work.
• Startup mindset with eagerness to make an impact in a fast-growth fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate key insights from data to inform strategy.
• Build and validate models for forecasting defaults and lending decisions.
• Use data analytics to guide lending scope and risk in response to market changes.
• Perform hypothesis testing to influence lending strategy, pricing and fraud detection.
• Present findings to senior leaders and partner with product/tech to implement changes.
