Job summary

Complete Security Recruitment Ltd seeks a Finance Manager for a 12-month maternity cover in Oxfordshire. You will pilot the migration from Sage 50 to Xero and implement Simpro, leading a small team while maintaining daily finance operations.

You will partner with the MD and Group finance, delivering monthly management accounts and driving improved reporting, controls and cost discipline across the business.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or substantial equivalent experience.
Proven experience running the full finance function of an SME.
Experience with Xero migration and Simpro implementation is desirable.
Strong controls, process improvements and efficient month-end reporting.
Strong Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead the finance workstream during migration from Sage 50 to Xero (early 2027) and document processes.
Act as finance lead on Simpro ERP implementation and ensure integration with Xero.
Redesign core finance processes (purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, payroll, month end) for efficiency.
Document key processes and controls for smooth handover when maternity cover ends.
Deliver monthly management accounts and provide insightful commentary to MD and Group finance.
