Finance Manager | Strategic Entity Oversight | Global Investment Business

An internationally recognised investment organisation is seeking a Finance Manager - Vice President to join its London-based finance team. The position sits within a high-impact division focused on managing the financial operations and integrity of both regulated and unregulated legal entities across the UK and broader EMEA region.

This is not a transactional accounting role. Processing is managed offshore, allowing the London team to concentrate on meaningful financial oversight, strategic input, and commercial analysis. The team is lean, senior, and collaborative—offering a rare opportunity to learn from and contribute alongside experienced professionals working at pace in a complex global business.

What you’ll be doing:

Overseeing all financial aspects of multiple legal entities, including P&L and balance sheet analysis, audit coordination, and control of financial reporting outcomes;
Supporting the integration of new business lines and products, ensuring that financial operations and accounting processes are aligned with commercial objectives;
Contributing to entity-level strategy discussions, providing financial insight to support decisions around structural changes, regulatory requirements, and capital planning;
Delivering financial input for quarterly board updates, highlighting key movements and risks within the entity portfolio;
Working closely with colleagues across finance, legal, tax, and operations to support change initiatives and strengthen overall control frameworks;
Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency of financial reporting and control processes through system enhancements and better coordination with offshore teams.

What they’re looking for:

ACA qualified (or equivalent), trained in a reputable audit or accounting firm;
Experience in financial control, reporting, accounting or legal entity roles — within financial services, asset management, or broader regulated environments;
…or directly from an accounting firm, with significant experience auditing financial services clients;
Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS), with the ability to evaluate complex issues and communicate them clearly to non-accountants;
Commercially minded, with a desire to contribute beyond the numbers and influence business-wide decisions;
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and stakeholders;
A self-starter who thrives in high-trust teams and is motivated by ownership and continuous improvement.
