Job summary

Allpress Espresso Ltd. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the UK finance function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will partner with senior leadership to provide insight, maintain controls, and drive commercial decisions across the business.

The role combines strategic business partnering with hands-on financial leadership, overseeing month-end, budgeting, forecasting and regulatory compliance while supporting growth initiatives and the transition to the new UK roastery.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA or CA (ICAS) qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills.
• Experience leading budgets, forecasts and long-term planning processes.
• Excellent financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
• Experience managing audits, statutory reporting and financial controls.
• Collaborative, pragmatic approach and ability to quickly build credibility.
• Experience in a fast-paced SME, manufacturing, FMCG, hospitality or food and beverage environment would be highly valued.

About the role

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to join our UK team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the General Manager Finance - Allpress International and sitting on the UK Leadership Team, you'll be the senior finance leader for the UK business. You'll play a key role in ensuring financial stability, maintaining strong controls and providing commercial insight that supports decision-making across the organisation.

This is a broad role that combines strategic business partnering with hands‑on operational leadership. You'll oversee the day‑to‑day finance function while helping leaders across the business understand performance, make informed decisions and deliver on our growth ambitions.

We're looking for someone who can quickly build relationships, provide confident advice and keep important finance initiatives moving while ensuring business‑as‑usual remains seamless.

This is a fixed‑term 12‑month contract that starts in November 2026

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the UK finance function and providing continuity of leadership.

About you

You're a senior finance professional who enjoys operating as both a strategic partner and a hands‑on leader.

You know how to turn financial information into meaningful insight and aren't afraid to challenge thinking when needed. You're equally comfortable presenting to senior leaders, developing your team, reviewing month‑end reconciliations or rolling up your sleeves to solve operational problems.

You'll likely bring:

• ACA or ACCA or CA (ICAS) qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills.
• Experience leading budgets, forecasts and long‑term planning processes.
• Excellent financial analysis and modelling capabilities.

Details:

Hours: 5 days per week around 40 hours per week

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: Usually 9am - 5pm with some occasional morning/evening calls.

Salary: £78-85,000 per annum

Probation period: 3 months

Reporting to: General Manager Finance - Allpress International

Direct reports: Financial Controller and Finance Assistant

Qualifications: ACA or ACCA or CA (ICAS) qualification.

Occasional early morning or evening calls may be required to collaborate with teams in New Zealand, Australia and Japan.
