Job summary

Allpress Espresso Ltd, a high growth specialty coffee brand, is seeking a Finance Manager for the UK on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in London with hybrid working, you will lead the UK finance function, partner with leadership, and drive commercial insight across wholesale, retail and hospitality channels.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, month-end, audits and UK tax, while building a high-performing team and supporting strategic projects such as the new UK roastery.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualification required.
• Experience at Finance Manager or Financial Controller level with team management.
• Strong commercial acumen and business partnering across channels.
• Experience leading budgets, forecasts and long-term planning.
• Experience with audits, statutory reporting and UK tax compliance.
• Hands-on with inventory management and production data systems.
• Advanced Excel; familiarity with planning tools and BI is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK finance function and provide continuity of leadership.
• Deliver management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial planning.
• Oversee month-end and statutory accounts, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Support commercial decisions with financial analysis and pricing reviews.
• Partner with sales, operations, cafés and supply chain to improve performance.
• Coach and develop the UK finance team.
• Oversee cash flow, inventory, capex, leases, credit control and payroll.
• Support transition to new UK roastery and system improvements.
