Job Description:

This role offers the chance to join loveholidays as a Finance Manager, focusing on technical accounting, audits, and reporting within a dynamic travel company. You will manage audits, ensure compliance with IFRS, and support process improvements.

The impact you’ll have

Reporting to the Head of Reporting and Control, you will oversee the annual audit process, support the finance team, and uphold best practices in reporting and controls.

Your day-to-day:

• Manage the annual and interim audit processes, ensuring accuracy and quality of management papers
• Deliver Financial Statements for the group by February end
• Oversee Cashflow statements and tax-related areas during month-end processes
• Serve as the technical accounting and reporting expert for the team
• Handle tax relationships and liaise with external advisors for VAT, C.T, T.P
• Lead process improvement projects and handle ad hoc tasks

Your skillset:

• Strong understanding of IFRS
• ACA qualified, practice trained (Top 6 Firm)
• Ability to analyze business implications and detail processes
• Experience interpreting technical standards and preparing management papers
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent project management skills
• Knowledge of internal controls best practices

Desirable

• G Suite experience
• Experience in tech or travel sectors
• Knowledge of German GAAP
