Job summary
SELFRIDGES is seeking a Finance Manager for Tech, Buying and Operations. You will own end-to-end financial services, lead up to two Finance Analysts, deliver monthly management accounts with variance analysis and provide commercial insight to drive profitability.
You will oversee budgeting, forecasting and LP planning for your area, mapping balance sheet risks and opportunities, while coaching your team and deputising for the Senior Finance Manager as required.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or international equivalent.
- Experience mentoring Finance Analysts is desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness and fast-paced environment experience.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with robust outputs.
- Experience with financial systems and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for the area.
- Deliver monthly management accounts with variance analysis and narrative.
- Prepare business cases and post-investment reviews.
- Develop trusted relationships with leadership and partners.
- Identify productivity and profitability improvements.
- Lead a small team of Finance Analysts and coach their development.
- Provide clear financial information to drive commercial decisions.
