Job Overview

We are seeking a Surgical Oncology Finance Manager within the Cancer and Surgery finance team.

Main Duties

1. Provide business partnering support to the Directorate for financial performance and planning activities.
2. Responsible for month-end reporting, forecasting, and financial planning.
3. Collaborate with clinicians and operational managers, and present reports at meetings.
4. Be an integral part of the Directorate Management Team.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (CCAB or equivalent).
• Evidence of continuous professional development.

Experience

• Post-qualification experience in management accounting, preferably within NHS or large complex organizations.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, with strong communication skills.

Skills and Knowledge

• Understanding of NHS financial regulations and performance targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
